ABOUT ME

Jade Sim is a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist based between Seoul and London. Her work moves through documentary and performance, often rooted in personal history and intergenerational memory. She traces quiet ruptures in identity, belonging, and language—often shaped by dislocation, by being between places, names, and generations. 

 

Sim also works as an art director, extending her visual language into collaborative contexts that blur the line between intimacy and construction. Across forms, her work holds space for what resists articulation—what trembles, lingers, and survives.
